Adelphi University - New York (Shorelight 1)

International students at the university are eligible for grants, student jobs, fellowships and scholarships to study in the USA. Candidates applying for financial aids must submit the CSS Profile document.

The average scholarship amount awarded to freshmen is more than 35,000 USD. The university provides various types of scholarships like Merit-Based, Undergraduate Scholarships, Graduate awards and September 11 Scholarships, among others.

Some of these aids include:

• New York University Wagner Scholarships

This is an entrance merit scholarship offered to a limited number of admitted students (international students inclusive) in every admission cycle. The scholarships range from partial to full-tuition scholarships with a range of 25,000 USD to 47,000 USD.

• Foreign Fulbright Program

​​​​​​​This program offers full scholarships in the United States to international Masters and Ph.D. students. This program also awards scholarships to non-degree postgraduate students. The grant covers tuition and fees, books and supplies, travel expenses, cost of living stipend, and health insurance. Eligibility is by academic merit.

• Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Programme

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This is a scholarship program funded by the Aga Khan Foundation. The number of scholarships is limited and it is provided annually for postgraduate studies to outstanding students from selected developing countries with no financial means. The scholarship is a 50% grant scholarship.
