A private university established in 1952, Adler University has two campuses. The university is named after Alfred Adler who was a psychologist, physician and founder of Adlerian Psychology. He is said to be the first to write on mental health and human psychology.
The founder of Adler University was Rudolf Dreikurs. In 1963 the university was approved as a post-secondary educational provider.
