Private, Roman Catholic Benedictine University was founded in 1887. The institution has several locations throughout Illinois in addition to its main campus in Lisle, Illinois. It also has a branch campus in Mesa, Arizona. As of autumn 2020, the university has a 42% acceptance rate, making it selective. 4,940 students are enrolled in the university overall, including 2,700+ undergraduates and 2,200+ graduate and doctoral students. Additionally, the university is home to about 11 international students who are enrolled there to continue their education in the US.

59 undergraduate majors are offered by the university. The colleges of science, business, liberal arts, the Daniel L. Goodwin, and education and health services all offer courses on these topics. There are nine residence halls on campus that Benedictine University uses for housing. 600 students live on campus at the university.

Sports and Athletics

The modern Fitness Center, which is housed in the recently refurbished Dan and Ada Rice Center, was unveiled by Benedictine University. The basement level&#39;s 7,500 square feet are devoted to aerobic and circuit training. Elliptical trainers, treadmills, and stationary bikes are available in the cardio area. There is a private dance/workout studio located on the bottom floor as well.
