Bologna Business School came into existence in 2000 as an alliance between the University of Bologna, Fondazione Guglielmo Marconi and Fondazione Carisbo. It was initially called Alma Graduate School.
In 2006, it merged with Profingest Management School and is now one of the largest business schools of a public university (University of Bologna) in Italy.
