California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH, Dominguez Hills, or Cal State Dominguez Hills) is a public university in Carson, California. It was founded in 1960 and is part of the California State University (CSU) system.
In Fall 2016 the university had a total enrollment of 14,731 students comprising 12,632 undergraduates (85.8%) and 2,099 post baccalaureates (14.2%), with over half of the student population identifying as the first in their families to go to college. CSUDH is one of the most ethnically and economically diverse universities in the western United States. It enrolls the largest number and percentage of African American students of any CSU campus. CSUDH is consistently ranked nationally as a top degree producer for minority students, including graduating more African American students than any public university in California.
CSUDH offers 46 Bachelors degrees, 23 Masters programs, a variety of single, multi-subject and specialized teaching credentials and a number of undergraduate, graduate and post-baccalaureate certificate programs within its five colleges: College of Arts and Humanities, College of Business Administration and Public Policy, College of Extended and International Education, College of Health, Human Services and Nursing, and College of Natural and Behavioral Sciences. The university is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC); is designated as a Hispanic-Serving Institution; and is nationally accredited in business administration, chemistry, clinical sciences (cytotechnology, medical technology), computer science, education, health science (orthotics and prosthetics), music, nursing, occupational therapy, public administration, social work (MSW), and theatre arts. The campus offers small class sizes for its students.

<ul><li>Stanislaus State offers suite-style as well as apartment-style housing to students. Learning and themed communities are also available which offer more support than other housing options.</li><li>All rooms are pre-furnished with a mattress, bed-frame, desk and chair, drawers, closet and a smoke detector. Rooms that have attached kitchens will have a full refrigerator and freezer, microwave, stove, cabinet/ counter space. Other rooms will have a mini-fridge and a microwave. Additionally, all rooms have restricted key entry.</li><li>Community facilities include game rooms, free laundry, Wi-Fi services, computer rooms with free printing facilities, multiple study rooms, swimming pools and much more.</li><li>The Disability Resource Service is responsible to help students with any disability in seeking accommodation and other practical services.</li></ul>
