California State University, commonly known as the Cal State and shortened as CSU, is a public-funded university system in the state of California, United States. The university system was established in the year 1857, and with time it spread over 23 campuses across the state of California.&nbsp;

The California State University at Sacramento is one of the universities of this Cal State University system. Established in the year 1947, it is the 11th oldest university of the Cal State University System. While the Sonoma State University is the branch-member of Cal State University System at the Rohnert Park city in the county of Sonoma, which was established in the year 1961.

The residential halls are built around the Central Dining Commons (CDC) which provides the dining facilities to the residing students. All the residential halls are equipped with necessary facilities like private washroom, private wardrobe, laundry service, common student and study area, 24/7 surveillance and security, etc.&nbsp;

If any student can&rsquo;t get the on-campus accommodation facility by the university by any chance, they can always opt for the off-campus accommodation which the university allows as well. Students can rent any flat or different types of apartments like private apartment, shared apartment, studio apartment, etc. depending on their budget and interest. The average cost of an apartment ranges between 800-1,000 USD per month.

The campus of the university holds several cafes, food outlets, pantries, and local mini-markets to provide food facilities for the students&rsquo; on-campus with utmost hygiene and safety measures.
