It is the 20th of California State University&#39;s 23 universities, making it the state&#39;s largest public higher education system. CSUSM celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2010 and graduated its 23,000th student. CSUSM offers the lowest crime rate on campus, in addition to providing the greatest level of learning experiences. It is nearly impossible to commit any form of theft on campus because of their competent University Police Department, which runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
