In 1967, Cambrian College started its journey as a trade school. The earlier location of its campuses were at Sudbury, North Bay and Sault Ste. 
In 2015, Métis Nation of Ontario and Cambrian college sought to strengthen their relationship and collaboration by signing a memorandum of understanding. Facts: 1. In northern Ontario Cambrian College is the largest public college for applied arts and technology. 2. The college has three campuses located at: Sudbury, Espanola, Little Current / Manitoulin Island, and northern Ontario. 3. The student strength of college is 11000 with more than 50% studying part-time courses. 4. The College has mainly five departments in which various courses are embedded. 5. The college has many alumni and faculty members in politics.

On-campus facilities: The on-campus housing of college will provide you a lot of facilities if you opt for it.
