<h3><strong>History</strong></h3>

<p>Carleton University is a public-funded, research-oriented university located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The university was established in the year 1942 as an educational institution for the post-secondary, known as the Carleton College. In the beginning years, the institution offered evening classes in the classrooms of the High School of Commerce, which later became a part of the Glebe Collegiate Institute. To ensure and increase the student enrollments, the institution offered rented facilities in various fields like Algebra, Trigonometry, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, History, French, etc. With rigorous and dedicated efforts, the institution&#39;s&nbsp;reputation grew in the whole of Ontario province.</p>

<p>In the year 1957, after the enactment of the Carleton University Act, the institution got granted its public university status. Thus, the name changed to Carleton University henceforth. <p>The university campus&nbsp;offers on-campus accommodation facilities to its students into their eleven residence buildings. The residence buildings in the campus of university are designed into two ways, i.e. Traditinal Residences and Suite Style Residences. Students can choose either one of them according their preference. Especially for first-year students, it is compulsory to live within the campus. While seniors have the option to live off-campus. The residence houses and rooms of the university&rsquo;s campus are well-facilitated by Wi-Fi, desk, and chair, wardrobe, parking space, laundry service, and 24*7security support.</p>

<p>If the on-campus accommodation facility is not being provided to the students for any reason, then they can also opt for the off-campus accommodation facility. Students can rent any type of flat or apartment, like private, shared, studio, or duplex apartments,&nbsp;in the city depending on their budget and interest. Students can find safe and affordable places for living nearby the campus very easily. The average cost of a suitable average apartment or flat ranges between CA$800-1000 per month.</p>
