The Catholic University of West, widely known as UCO, La Catho, or Universite Catholique de I'Quest, is a non-profit private university for higher education located in Angers, France. It was established in the year 1875 by French Bishops after the liberation for teaching by the National Assembly. There were a total of five Catholic Universities established by the bishops in France to offer higher education.
Campus
The campus of the university comprises several academic as well as sports facilities. The university has a total of 7 campuses, namely Angers, Vannes/Arradon, Guingamp, Laval, Papeete, La Reunion, Nantes. Along with historic buildings, there are many new state-of-art buildings constructed over the campus. The library, different academic buildings for different fields of study, and the sports complex are some of the highlights of the university's campus.
