Dublin City University came into existence in 1975 with Liam Mulcahy as the director. Later in 1977 he was replaced by Danny O'Hare for the next 22 years. Since its construction in 1975, the University has expanded and various buildings have been added like the Henry Grattan building in 1981.

General Information
Scholarships are a great way of receiving financial aid from universities, and some of the scholarships offered by universities are -
- DCU International Merit Scholarships, for which you have to apply through the application process.
Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled full-time are immediately eligible for the award of up to EUR 2,000. For merit scholarships, students must have vital academic records, though. Students can also submit a scholarship application before July to get the perks.
- DCU Non-EU Masters Scholarships
Students who apply to a taught master's programme lasting one year are given a scholarship worth EUR 2,000. Early July is the deadline for scholarship applications. The scholarship website of the institution has the terms and conditions available for students to review.
