East Tennessee State University Undergraduate Merit Scholarships - 

• Blue Scholarship - $5,000/year, requires >3.0 GPA.
• Gold Scholarship - $7,000/year, requires >3.5 GPA.
• Elite Scholarship - $9,000/year, requires >3.75 GPA.

Graduate Merit Scholarships - 

• Masters Merit Scholarship - $5,000/year, requires >3.0 GPA.
• Doctoral Merit Scholarship - $9,000/year, requires >3.0 GPA.

Creative Arts Scholarships - 

• Are available to all majors, including undergraduate and graduate students. Scholarship recipients pay in-state tuition, equivalent to about $20,000 per year.

STEM Community Outreach Scholarship - 

• It is available to new undergraduate students majoring in Computing, Geosciences, Mathematics, and Physics. Recipients pay in-state tuition, equivalent to about $20,000 per year.

Freshman Requirements for STEM Community Outreach Scholarship - 

• High School GPA >3.2 GPA.
• Math ACT/SAT >25 ACT / >1200 SAT.
• English ACT/SAT >21 ACT / >1060 SAT.

Additional Scholarship Opportunities - 

• Sister Cities International Student Scholarship - Awarded to degree-seeking incoming, first-time freshman international students with >26 ACT, >3.5 High School GPA. Deadline: December 20. Amount: $12,000-$13,500 per year.

• Changemaker Scholars Program - Offers $6,000 per academic year for students with a demonstrated interest in community involvement, social innovation, and creating positive change in their communities. No minimum ACT or GPA requirements. Deadline: March 1.
