Edith Cowan University (ECU) is an Australian University located in Perth, Australia. It is named after the first woman representative in the Australian Parliament. At the same time, this is the only university named after a woman. ECU grants university status in 1991 whereas its history dates back to 1902. General Information
All full-time overseas students at Edith Cowan University are eligible for a variety of scholarships. These rewards are given out on the basis of merit, academic distinction, and the candidates' accomplishments.
- The ECU Excellence Scholarship rewards students in need with a monetary award of 20,000 AUD.
- The WA Women's Society of Fine Arts and Crafts Equity Scholarship awards up to 30,000 AUD to School of Arts and Humanities students.
- All students with a satisfactory academic record are eligible for ECU South West Campus Scholarships for 20,000 AUD.
- The ECU Higher Degree by Research Scholarship (PG) provides postgraduate students with a stipend of 28,420 AUD for three years.
- The Edith Cowan University Research Training Program scholarship is for students pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) or a higher degree research program such as a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).
