History

Flinders Unversity is a public-funded research-oriented university situated in the city of Adelaide, South Australia. The university was established in the year 1966. In the year 1961, the land of 150acres was announced for&nbsp;a second campus for the University of Adelaide. Later through the years, the Australian Labor Party vouched to make the second campus of the University of Adelaide into an independent institution. Thus finally on March 17, 1966, after the passing of an official bill from state parliament, Flinders University of South Australia came into existence.&nbsp;
