GISMA Business School is a private higher-education institution founded in 1999 in Germany. It was founded as a joint initiative by the state of Lower Saxony with some private companies based in the state. In 2013, GISMA lost its sponsorship, grants and partnerships after a low student enrollment. Nearing bankruptcy, it was saved by Global University Systems, a for-profit company. If the students are studying in GISMA Business School, Grenoble Ecole de Management, Kingston University or The University of Law, they are eligible to apply for a scholarship offered.
