<h3>History</h3>

Highline College is a public-funded college located in the city of Des Moines, Washington, USA. The college was established in the year 1961 as the first community college in the state of King County, Washington. Later in the year of 1964, the campus of the college got shifted to its current location in Des Moines City. Several other buildings were also constructed at the new campus site of the college at the time of relocation.

In the year 1967, the Washington State Legislature changed the name to Highline Community College. But the college&rsquo;s board of trustees voted against the legislature and renamed the college as the &ldquo;Highline College&rdquo;.

If any student can&rsquo;t get the on-campus accommodation facility by the college by any chance, they can always opt for the off-campus accommodation which the university allows as well.
