History

Humboldt State University was established in the year of 1913 and is a public type university situated in Arcata California.&nbsp; The motto of the university says &lsquo;Light Truth&rsquo;. The university was formerly known as Humboldt State normal College in year 1913 to 1935, then it changed it Humboldt State College till 1972 and then till 1974 it was known as California State University, Humboldt.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The colours of the university are green and gold and its nickname is Lumberjacks.
