Long Island University is a private university in Brooklyn. It was established in 1926: 1n 1929, the University affiliated itself with the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy. In the late 1960s, it was proposed to sell Brooklyn Campus to finance another graduate campus, but it did not get any place, in reality, owing to the protests conducted by students and teachers.
