Available scholarships and application procedure for Scholarships
International students at UAB have a restricted number of scholarship possibilities. IB scholarships, departmental scholarships, performance awards, and other options are available to applicants. They must apply for scholarships through the Blazer Scholarship Management and Resource Tool (BSMART), which will open in October. In addition to the normal application, certain scholarships may need a supplemental application.
A separate application is required for the UAB International Baccalaureate Scholarship, which is accessible to first-year students. Because the reward is only awarded to individuals who apply for a 4-year IB degree, the initial award of 1,000 USD is increased to 2,500 USD upon receiving an IB diploma.
