La Trobe University is a public funded &amp; research-oriented university that is located in the city of Melbourne, Australia. The university was established in 1964. And at the time of establishment, it was the third university in the state of Victoria and overall twelfth university in the whole Australia. With around 500 students for the first batch or semester, the university was officially opened by the Victorian premier, Sir Henry Bolte, and thus teaching began at the university. Later in the year 1987, Lincoln Institute of Health Science also got merged with the university, and was thus known as the Lincoln House faculty inside the premises of the university.

On-Campus Accommodation

La Trobe University offers on-campus accommodation facilities to their students in their three residential colleges, which are Glenn, Chisholm and Menzies. All the residential halls and rooms of the campus are well-facilitated and totally safe and secured.

Students can also opt for the off-campus accommodation facility which the university allows and also help in getting one. The accommodation officer at the university helps and supports the students in finding suitable accommodation depending on the budget and interest of the student.
