Lethbridge College is a publicly funded college that was established in 1957. It has its main campus in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada and its other regional campuses in the city of Crowsnest Pass, Claresholm and Vulcan County.
It was earlier known as the Lethbridge Junior College when it was founded in 1957. It is also known as the first publicly funded community college in the country, Canada. Then the College's Board of Governors finally voted to change its name into "Lethbridge College", on 14 February 2007. Lethbridge College is also one of the members of the Alberta Rural Development Network. Facts: 1. The Lethbridge College offers a wide range of university transfer programs, vocational training and preparatory studies in around 50 career fields. 2. Lethbridge College also provides degrees for applied bachelors which have transfer agreements with other universities like the University of Lethbridge, University of Alberta, University of Calgary and Athabasca University, for the students who wish to transfer on completion of the course. 3.
