Long Island University is a private university in Brooklyn. It was established in the year 1926. 1n 1929, the university affiliated itself with the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy. In late 1960s it was proposed to sell Brooklyn Campus to finance other graduate campus, but it did not get any place in reality owing to the protests conducted by students and teachers.&nbsp;
