The Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is a national research university based in Singapore. It is the second oldest autonomous university in Singapore and is considered to be one of the top universities in the world. NTU is consistently ranked within the top 80 universities in the world according to most rankings, and is currently ranked 12th globally in the QS World University Rankings as of June 2021. It has also been ranked 1st amongst young universities by the QS World University Rankings since 2015 as of April 2021
As a relatively large university, it has 23,951 full-time enrolled students and 3846 full-time teaching staff.

On-Campus Accommodation&nbsp;

Over 12,000 undergraduate and 1,200 graduate students can stay in NTU&#39;s 24 residential halls on the Yunnan Garden campus.

Several accommodation options are available; students may choose to rent either a property or a room.

Clubs and Societies

Currently, there are more than 100 student organisations at NTU. These include Constituent Clubs, Non-Constituent Clubs, Academic Clubs, Cultural Clubs, Welfare Society, Sports Clubs, Arts Clubs and clubs for various religions and interests. Many students also participate in sports, recreational games and performing arts activities within the residence hall communities.

Global Lounge

The Global Lounge is located near the Canopy Stage on North Spine. It serves as a centre for social interaction and cultural events. Its goal is to promote cross-cultural learning and to improve the global learning environment.

Nanyang House&nbsp;

Nanyang House is situated on Nanyang Hill. It is a hub for student activities, with various facilities and equipment available for use by student organisations.

Student Activities Centre

The Student Activities Centre (SAC) is located on North Spine, beneath the Lee Wee Nam Library and next to the Global Lounge. It has 1,500 square metres of interactive area. In between courses, students can visit the study zone for some peaceful reading and self-reflection, or they can reserve a meeting room for group discussions.

Sports and Athletics

The Sports &amp; Recreation Centre provides several opportunities for students to gain life skills, establish character, and pursue a healthy lifestyle via a variety of sports, both competitive and recreational.

Student Leadership Development

NTU&#39;s Student Leadership Development Programme (SLDP) aims to help students gain insights into leadership traits and skill sets and hone these for future success.
