Students who want to extend their perspectives through experiences in overseas education will benefit significantly from the BC Study Abroad Scholarships.
One World International Scholarships -
- These bursaries are intended to assist students who plan to participate in study or employment abroad initiatives outside of North America.
- The range of scholarships is $2,000 to $5,000.
- Students participating in experiential learning programs, such as language or cultural training, are eligible for scholarships.
- They may also be used in programs that award credits toward the student's desired BC academic credential.
Premier's International Scholarships -
- Premier's International Scholarships are more generous, with awards ranging from $8,000 to $12,000.
- These awards are intended for students who have excelled academically and can clearly comprehend the value of global literacy in our society.
- The recipients of these scholarships must clearly understand how their involvement in an international educational program will advance their personal growth and strengthen their capacity to participate in global citizenship.
