On - Campus Accomodation

	<li>Northern Michigan University has eight residence halls and apartment-style facilities for students to live on campus.</li>
	<li>Most halls offer a two-to-three sharing arrangement with communal kitchens, laundry rooms, TV rooms, and study areas.</li>
	<li>Students have access to 24-hour maintenance, Wifi, cable TV, and local phone services in their rooms, as well as a variety of recreational events.</li>
	<li>Apartment-style accommodations with reserved parking, Cable TV, local phone lines, Wifi, mailboxes, and closeness to laundry and sports facilities are offered at several places on campus.</li>

Northern Michigan University is located near the southern shore of Lake Superior in Marquette, Michigan&#39;s Upper Peninsula. In addition to their tuition, all students receive a ThinkPad or iBook laptop. Northern Michigan University is home to the only U.S. Olympic Education Center in the country, where athletes are educated in speedskating, boxing, and Greco-Roman wrestling, among other sports. Northern Michigan University competes in the NCAA II and various athletic conferences.
