Established in the year 1973 as the Parkland Regional College, The institution firmly stands in the Yorktown city of the Saskatchewan province. The main reason behind the establishment of the college was to serve education among the communities of the province&rsquo;s east central region. Since the starting the college has been in partnership with Cumberland College (located in the northeastern part of the province). It was only in the year 2008, the name of the college changed to Parkland College.
