So, here a few clubs and activities that Pirogov has to offer. 1. There is a Student Scientific Society which helps students publishes researches internationally. 2. Also, there are Student Volunteer centers to conduct social work. 3. Center for the Study of Public Opinion – senior students help to improve quality life at university. 4. Sports Club- Since physical fitness is the basis for a successful career and fruitful work. The University supports sports clubs and the organization of mass sporting events at the University. 5. Camp “Konakovo”- In 1971 оn the Volga bank near Konakovo town sports and health camp “Konakovo” was built, where 200 students and university employees саn enjoy themselves during winter and summer free-time with a very low and inexpensive price. There is а well- equipped beach, gym, sports grounds for playing foot- ball, basketball, volleyball, tennis at their disposal.
