Scholarship eligibility at Rivier University is primarily based on academic merit. 

All students are automatically considered for the following scholarships when applying for full-time admission. These scholarships are typically renewable for up to four consecutive years of full-time undergraduate study, contingent upon maintaining satisfactory academic progress. Importantly, these are institutional awards that do not require repayment. However, it's crucial to note that if a student receives 100% funding or tuition reimbursement from an external source, all Rivier funding will be revoked.

Founders Merit Scholarship - 

• This renewable scholarship is granted to incoming full-time freshmen who meet the university's standards of academic excellence and dedication.
• Scholarships can be awarded up to $20,000 annually.

Adams Achievement Scholarship - 

• Recipients of the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship receive a one-time award of $2,000 through the Adams Achievement Scholarship, in recognition of their academic excellence.

Rivier University Grant Program - 

• Based on financial need, this grant is awarded to full-time day students.
• Grant awards are not guaranteed from one year to the next, and students must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year.
• Changes to a student’s Expected Family Contribution (EFC) may affect the amount of a Rivier University Grant offered in future years.
• Rivier Grant funding is offered for four years of continuous full-time day enrollment, contingent upon maintaining satisfactory academic progress.

Biology Innovators Grant - 

• Eligible for incoming Biology and Biotechnology majors.
• First-time, first-year students receive a $3,000 grant each year, renewable for four years, totaling $12,000 in financial support, in addition to a competitive financial aid package.
• This grant supports students pursuing degrees in the life sciences.

Education Innovation Grant - 

• Available to incoming Education majors.
• First-time, first-year students receive a $3,000 grant each year, renewable for four years, totaling $12,000 in financial support, in addition to a competitive financial aid package.
• This grant supports students pursuing degrees in education.

Security Innovation Grant - 

• Eligible for incoming Cybersecurity Management and Homeland & International Security majors.
• First-time, first-year students receive a $3,000 grant each year, renewable for four years, totaling $12,000 in financial support, in addition to a competitive financial aid package.
• This grant supports students pursuing degrees in security studies.
