The&nbsp;State University of New York at Fredonia&nbsp;(SUNY Fredonia) is a&nbsp;public university&nbsp;in&nbsp;Fredonia, New York. It is the westernmost member of the&nbsp;State University of New York. Founded in 1826, it is the sixty-sixth-oldest institute of higher education in the United States, the seventh-oldest college in New York, and the second-oldest public school in New York (SUNY and&nbsp;CUNY) after&nbsp;SUNY Potsdam&nbsp;(1816). Fredonia was one of the state&nbsp;teachers&#39; colleges&nbsp;traditionally specializing in music education, but now offers programs in other areas, including a graduate division. Areas of study include science, communication, music, education, and the social sciences. There are over 80 majors and over 50 minors. The Fredonia campus, located in&nbsp;Chautauqua County&nbsp;(southwest of&nbsp;Buffalo), was designed by prominent architects&nbsp;I.M. Pei&nbsp;and&nbsp;Henry N. Cobb&nbsp;in 1968.

On-campus accommodation is available in 14 resident halls that include corridor-style, suite-style, combination-style, and Townhouses.&nbsp;

	<li>Corridor-style:&nbsp;Alumni, Chautauqua, Gregory, Mcginnis, and Nixon are the names of the five residential halls of the Corridor-style architecture. Each of the five buildings features a lobby, communal kitchenettes, leisure spaces, and a laundry.</li>
	<li>Suite-style:&nbsp;Disney, Eisenhower, Grissom, Hemingway, Hendricks, Igoe, Kasling, and Schulz are the names of the five residence halls of the Suite-style structure. Open foyer, mailbox, entertainment areas, single bathroom, and laundry are all included in the Suite design.</li>
	<li>University Commons: The university commons has a capacity of 120 students, the majority of whom are upperclassmen. Each floor of the Hall features a lounge with single and double occupancy rooms. Self-controlling heating, air conditioning, and a micro fridge are among the essential conveniences accessible in University commons.</li>
	<li>The University Village is a four-story structure featuring a living room, bedroom, porch, and kitchen on each floor. Internet, Wi-Fi, digital television, central heating, and a washer and dryer are among the essential facilities accessible at University Village.</li>
