TSU only provides a small number of scholarships for international students to study in the US. The available financial aid is simply intended to help; it does not entirely defray the cost of attending school. Students are also eligible to seek outside scholarships.

A full-time undergraduate student with a minimum GPA of 3.5 (90%) is awarded the Malick Badjie International Scholarship, worth USD 2,500.
