Trent University was established in 1964 and is a public arts liberal university. Trent University is known for the system they follow at Oxbridge College. The motto of the university says &lsquo;Now I know in Part&rsquo; and operates largely. The geography department in the university came into action in 1968 and offered Canada&rsquo;s first native studies program in 1969.
