<p>Trinity Western University is a private university that was founded in 1962, i.e. 58 years ago. The university is situated in Langley, British Columbia, Canada and it is a member of Universities Canada. It is one of the largest Christian-funded universities and it is a member of the Royal Society of Canada.</p>

<p>The motto of the university says &ldquo;A mighty Fortress is our God&rdquo; and its color is gold and blue. It is the fourth-oldest university in the province of British Columbia.</p>

Five scholarships are available for entering students (new and transfer) pursuing first-year studies in music:

two vocal scholarships
two instrumental scholarships
one piano scholarship

Each entrance scholarship is worth up to $3,000 and may be renewed for an additional 3 years (total of $12,000 over 4 years). Musical Arts Scholarships are typically awarded to students intending to major in Music on the basis of musical talent, and artistic and academic promise. Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of SAMC Music. The number and value of the scholarships may be altered depending on the applicant pool.
