Scholarships are available to overseas students at the University of Ulster, depending on merit, area, and programme. Region-based scholarships are generally given to students from developing&nbsp;nations and are usually used to tuition payments. Merit-based scholarships often cover up to 50% of tuition costs and are given to students with outstanding academic records and test results. Because application forms are analysed to find eligible students, these awards may not require students to apply separately.
