The University of Aberdeen was originally founded in 1494. It was the first university in Aberdeen. It was established on 10th February 1494 as The University and King&#39;s College of Aberdeen. Application Procedure

The university&#39;s main campus is located is at King&#39;s College in Old Aberdeen. The second campus is at Foresterhill and accommodates the School of Medicine, Medical Science and Nutrition. Also, there are smaller facilities provided at other sites such as the Royal Cornhill Hospital to the west of the city centre and the Rowett Institute of Bucksburn. The campus at King&#39;s College has a big library that was opened in 2012 by Queen Elizabeth. It has a great collection of books. The campus at Foresterhill is co-located with Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Royal Aberdeen Children&#39;s Hospital and Aberdeen Maternity Hospital, all teaching hospitals operated by regional health board NHS Grampian. A new campus was opened in Doha, Qatar in 2017.
