The University of Brighton is a public funded university located in the city of Brighton, England. The university was established in the year 1858 as the Brighton School of Art in the historic Royal Pavilion. It received its university charter in the year 1992 after the establishment of Further and Higher Education Act 1992, making it one of the “post-1992 universities”. 
Later in the year 1994, educational institutions like Sussex and Kent Institute of Nursing and Midwifery became part of the University, resulting in a new campus of the university in the town of Eastbourne as well. In the year 2011, the university partnered with the Kaplan international College and established the “Brighton International College” where they provide pathway courses for the international students, preparing them for the higher education studies at the University of Brighton.  Facts: 1. Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings also gave the ranking of #601-800 to the University of Brighton. 3. On-campus facilities

The University of Brighton also offers on-campus accommodation to their international students in their residence halls in different campuses. The residences are all well-facilitated and equipped with basic essential facilities like desk and chair, attached bathroom, wardrobe, laundry, security surveillance and support, etc. 
 
Off-campus facilities

Students can also go for the off-campus accommodation facility which the university allows, in case if on-campus accommodation doesn&rsquo;t get allotted. Students can rent any flat or apartment depending on their budget and interest. All the residence places in the city are all at a convenient distance from the university. The city of Brighton has a temperate climate making both summers as well as winter seasons cool and windy. While the city of Eastbourne has a maritime climate, which receives more sunshine and sunny days in comparison to Brighton and other UK cities. These scholarships are for eligible students starting their postgraduate course in academic year 2024-25. 

Scholarships worth 20% of tuition fees will be awarded to students who already hold a University of Brighton academic award and who wish to study at postgraduate level at the university.

The scholarship is open to any alumni, studying full-time or part-time for a postgraduate award, except those on apprenticeship programmes or integrated masters and paying regulated fees.

We offer the University of Brighton International Scholarship to support our international students and make a positive impact on your studies. We are committed to ensuring that studying your degree at Brighton will help you to pursue a successful future career.

Scholarships will be awarded at GBP3,500, GBP2,500 and GBP1,000 levels and those applications we assess as best meeting the criteria will be awarded the higher amount. These scholarships are awarded as a reduction in tuition fees for the first year of study.
