The University of East London, also known as UEL is located in the London Borough of Newham, London, England. It is a public university that is known to have a history that can be traced back to the year 1892 when the West Ham Technical Institute was established and later on by the year 1952, it was upgraded to the West Ham College of Technology and then to the North East London Polytechnic in the year 1970 and to the Polytechnic of East London in 1989.
