General Information
1.) International Merit Scholarships -
- High-achieving overseas students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programmes at the University of Galway are given these scholarships.
- The award ranges from €2,000 to €5,000, based on the applicant's academic achievement.
2.) Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships -
- The University of Galway offers these scholarships to non-EEA students who want to enrol full-time in one of its Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. programmes.
- The scholarship includes a €10,000 stipend to help with living expenses for one academic year.
3.) Hardiman Research Scholarships -
- These bursaries are given to international students participating in University of Galway Ph.D. programmes.
- The scholarship grants a stipend of €16,000 each year for four years in addition to paying the full cost of tuition.
4.) Irish Aid Fellowships
- Students from qualified poor nations who want to pursue a postgraduate degree in any subject area offered by the University of Galway are eligible to apply for these fellowships.
- The fellowship provides a monthly stipend in addition to paying for housing and tuition.
