The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (often referred to as UMBC) is a public research university in Baltimore County, Maryland. It has a fall 2019 enrollment of 13,602 students, 61 undergraduate majors, over 92 graduate programs (38 masters, 25 doctoral, and 29 graduate certificate programs) and the first university research park in Maryland. In contrast, the cold season lasts for about 3 months too, usually from December to March and commonly the winter&#39;s days are very windy and chilly; however, the temperature is rarely below 18&deg;F.
