University of New Brunswick is a public university and was established in 1785. It has two primary campuses, one in Fredericton and one in St. John. The university’s motto says ‘Dare to be wise’. It was founded by a group of seven loyalists.
In 2014, startup Canada awarded the UNB as the most entrepreneurial university. The smaller Saint John campus opened after the main one in 1964.
