Digital Inclusion Programme

Strathclyde Business School is delighted to be able to offer a number of Masters Scholarships for September 2024. Candidates must be deemed International for Fee Status and Scholarship awards will be to the value of GBP9,000 to GBP12,000 dependent on subject area and course fee.

The Scholarships will be awarded on merit, rather than financial need, to candidates who demonstrate in both their Scholarship Application and their Masters programme application, excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained); any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience and career development and who will contribute to the overall academic, cultural and experiential profile of the programme cohort.   

Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis from mid January 2024 onwards and the final deadline for consideration of applications will be 31st July 2024. Please do not submit duplicate applications as all forms and statements submitted will remain under consideration.  

Strathclyde Business School Masters Scholarships for International Students - September 2024

In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, The University of Strathclyde, Faculty of Engineering is offering 2 scholarships to students from either India, Malaysia and Thailand applying for postgraduate courses starting in January 2024 in the areas of environmental sciences and climate change. 

The GREAT Scholarships 2023 programme, launched by the British Council together with 49 UK universities, supports postgraduate students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.

The scholarship programme offers financial support of a minimum of GBP10,000 to students pursuing specific one-year postgraduate courses starting in January 2024 within the Faculty of Engineering at Strathclyde.

Please note that applicants should be passport holders of India, Malaysia or Thailand.

University of Strathclyde - British Council GREAT Scholarships (Environmental Science and Climate Change)

All self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying offer holders with strong academic qualifications are encouraged to apply for a Dean's International Excellence Award. Please note - you must hold an offer to a full-time postgraduate taught degree programme within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences starting in academic year 2023/24 before your scholarship application will be considered.

These scholarships are worth GBP4,000 - GBP5,000 and will be offered to exceptional applicants at postgraduate taught level. 

These awards are offered based on merit and are competitive. They are not guaranteed.

Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences: Dean's International Excellence Awards - Postgraduate Taught January 24

Scholarships of between GBP4,000 - GBP5,000 are available to new international students joining the MSc Advanced Computer Science, MSc Advanced Computer Science with Data Science or MSc Advanced Software Engineering in the 2023/2024 academic year commencing January 2024.

Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis to candidates who demonstrate in their application for admission excellent academic performance (current and/ or previously gained) and any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience.

Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis. Awards may be allocated early in the application cycle and so making an early application for admission is advised.

Faculty of Science Masters Scholarship for International Students - January intake

Scholarships of GBP4,000 are available to new international students joining the MRes Physics in the 2023/2024 academic year commencing January 2024.

Faculty of Science International Scholarship for MRes Physics- January intake

We offer a number of scholarships for our applicants joining postgraduate taught courses in January 2024, as well as for our postgraduate research applicants joining the Faculty of Engineering in academic year 2023/24. 

All self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying offer holders with strong academic qualifications are encouraged to apply. Please note - you must hold an offer to a full-time postgraduate taught degree course starting in January 2024 before your scholarship application will be considered. If applying for a postgraduate research course you must start during the 2023/24 academic year.

If you're applying for a postgraduate taught degree course, you'll receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15% reduction of your tuition fees, which will typically be GBP3,670.*  

In addition to this, we also have a limited number of Dean's International Excellence Awards for our postgraduate taught applicants. These scholarships are worth GBP5,000 and GBP8,000 and will be offered to exceptional applicants at postgraduate taught level only. Applicants need to only submit one application and will be considered for all levels of postgraduate taught scholarships.

If you're applying for a postgraduate research degree course, you'll receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15% reduction of your tuition fees for each year of study. Postgraduate research degree applicants can apply year-round for the scholarships.

*The amount varies for selected courses with a different tuition fee, including courses within Architecture & Biomedical Engineering.
