The University of the Incarnate Word is a prestigious educational institution founded on Catholic Intellectual Tradition, Judeo-Christian principles, and Catholic Social Teaching. The institution&#39;s main campus, which spans 154 acres and is located in San Antonio and Alamo Heights, Texas, is the largest. Fine Arts Scholarship

The Cardinal Chemistry Scholars (C2S) Program includes scholarship money and support systems to help students majoring in Chemistry or Biochemistry complete their degree and then either find a job or get into a chemistry or biochemistry graduate program (master's or doctorate). Participating students will receive up to $10,000 a year in scholarship money and enroll in a 1-credit seminar course each semester until they graduate. The seminar course will include peer mentoring, career development, academic support, and activities such as visits to companies and scientific conferences.

Distinguished Scholarship

The UIW MBA Merit Scholarship is an academic scholarship available to qualified Broadway Campus Graduate MBA students. Qualified students will receive a scholarship award that will total $8,000, split over four semesters, excluding summer semesters. This scholarship is not valid for summer enrollment. To qualify, continuous fall and spring enrollment must be maintained; summer enrollment is not required. The first fall and spring semesters of the scholarship will require a minimum of 9 credit hours of continuous enrollment to qualify to receive the scholarship. The final fall and spring semesters will require a minimum of 6 credit hours of continuous enrollment to qualify. Students enrolled in MBA programs outside of the Broadway Campus, such as in the School of Professional Studies, do not qualify for this scholarship. This scholarship may not be stacked with other tuition programs, such as a Graduate Assistantship. Recipients must maintain a cumulative graduate grade point average of 3.0 or higher to remain qualified to continue to receive the scholarship.

One-Year Music Scholarships are available to current music students who are not receiving the maximum amount through auditions in the fall semester. Awards are disbursed in the spring semester. Eligible sophomores and upperclassmen must have an overall minimum GPA of 3.0, and first-year students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 at the end of their first full semester. One-year scholarships are not renewable. Students must re-audition in January to be considered for an annually renewable scholarship (see above).

One-Year Music Scholarships

Tuition discounts starting at $1,000 are offered for participation in band ensembles at UIW.

The list of tuition credits, also known as "Band Scholarships," are typically sent to the Office of Financial Assistance at the end of the first week of classes and should appear on the student's account the following week. This is to ensure that all students who have declared their intention to enroll in band do so, and do not drop band after the award is given.
