University of Wales Bangor started its journey in 1884 on 18th October when it was opened for students. Earlier known as University College of North Wales the university operated in a coaching inn with 58 students and 10 staff members.

In 1893 it became a constituent college of University of Wales, before that students used to get degrees from University of London.&nbsp; The main building of the University was opened in 1911 after the donation of a 10 acres site by the city of Bangor in 1903.

On campus accommodation - The university has residence halls as accommodation for students. All the accommodations are self-catered, and most rooms would have private bathrooms, with shared kitchen facilities like microwave oven, sink etc. The accommodation quality is very good as they&#39;ve even won 3rd place for accommodation from the What Uni Student Choice Awards 2019.

Off&nbsp;campus accommodation -&nbsp;There are private, studio, ensuite, shared apartment options to choose from. The common facilities you can find are basic furniture like bed, chair, table, wardrobe, kitchen, wifi, laundry etc. All these facilities might not be available as accommodation varies depending on price.&nbsp;

		<li>This location has 9 en-suite residence halls with shared kitchens for 8 students and is relatively costlier than the other group of 5 en-suite residence halls with shared kitchens for 8 students. This village has shops, laundrettes, and common rooms, Bar Uno caf&eacute; bars, and Canolfan Brailsford sports center.</li>

	<ul>
		<li>This has around 600 rooms, offering a range of accommodation including en-suite, budget rooms, 5 studio apartments, and townhouses.</li>
		<li>This village has one standard hall called the Bryn Eithin, which has shared bathrooms and kitchens.</li>
		<li>This village has around 300 en-suite bedrooms and 30 studios across 5 different residence halls known as Cemlyn, Cybi, Penmon, Ffordd Tudno En-suite Rooms and Studios, and St Mary&rsquo;s Quad.</li>
		<li>This village has a caf&eacute;, laundrette, common room, fitness centers, etc.</li>
