Available scholarships and application procedure for Scholarships
To avail financial aid, follow these steps:
1 Use the Scholarships Finder at waikato.ac.nz/scholarships to
see which scholarships you may be eligible for.
2 If you haven’t already applied for a qualification at the University of
Waikato, you will need to do this before applying for a scholarship.
If you are still deciding what to study, you can change or withdraw
at any stage.
3 Read details on the scholarship application process at
waikato.ac.nz/scholarships/application-process/
4 Ensure you tailor your answers to the scholarship selection criteria,
and take time to include all other requested items (e.g. names of
referees, CV, tailored personal statement).
5 Complete your scholarship application online at
waikato.ac.nz/scholarships. Most entrance scholarship
applications close 31 August 2020.
6 You will receive an electronic notification when your application
has been processed and when a decision has been reached by the
Selection Panel. This may take up to 8 weeks. Please ensure you
accept any offers by the date indicated.
