<p>Youngstown State University, commonly known as Youngstown State or YSU, is a public-funded universoty located in the city of Youngstown, Ohio, USA. The university was established in the year 1908 as a school of law by a renowned worldwide youth organization YMCA, under the Youngstown Association School. The institution introduced its first evening courses in 1921 and got known as the Youngstown Institute of Technology. By the end of 1928, the institution established a College of Arts and Sciences, and once again changed its name to Youngstown College to demonstrate the college&#39;s wide and diverse curriculum.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the year 1967, the college finally received its university charter and became a public institution, Youngstown State University. The university established several schools like Graduate School, College of Applied Science and Technology and College of Fine and Performing Arts in the following years.&nbsp;</p>
