Why Study Mechanical Engineering at GW?

"The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) offers an ABET-accredited bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering, and students who wish to do so may also pursue options in aerospace engineering, patent law, biomechanical engineering, or medical preparation.
Our small department size allows students to get personal attention from the faculty and their advisors, and even opens the door to undergraduate research opportunities.
The School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) provides internship and career support through the SEAS Career Services Office.
Students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering are encouraged to make the most of their college experience by taking advantage of the programs and services offered by the SEAS Career Services Office.

The International Services Office is the first stop for the GW international community and will help eliminate administrative challenges when studying in the US.
