Edith Cowan University (ECU) is an Australian University located in Perth, Australia. It is named after the first woman representative in the Australian Parliament. At the same time, this is the only university named after a woman. ECU grants university status in 1991 whereas its history dates back to 1902. Currently, the university has more than 30,000 students at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, 6,000 of which are international students from over 100 countries.

The only provision is that the student cannot start working until the course commences.</li>
